Hi! My name is Charlie Hesse. I’m an interior designer based out of Bay Head, New Jersey serving those in the surrounding areas. Growing up in a small beach town like Bay Head, I had absorbed a sense of coastal living and design from a young age. 

After graduating from Monmouth University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in modeling and signed with Wilhelmina Models. During this time I was also assisting with my family's real estate development projects which sparked my interest for interior design. This new interest soon grew into a passion. I applied to the New York School of Interior Design and was accepted. This experience opened my eyes to all of the possibilities interior design has to offer. Soon thereafter, an opportunity presented itself and Saltwater House was born. My very own home and lifestyle retail store where I could share my favorite design concepts and styling accessories with the community. It also became home to Charlie Hesse Interiors!

I have worked on a wide range of projects from new build construction, major renovations and to styling assistance, bringing an elevated beach aesthetic to my client’s homes. I hope we can work together on your next home project!
