I’d like to share a little “behind the scenes” look at the design process of the Charlie Hesse Interior’s office! I wanted to create a space that was a reflection of my personal style and where I would love to come to work every day. I love designing with a neutral color palette, incorporating texture and organic materials to create a serene workspace. The walls are wrapped in a warm grasscloth wallpaper with a delicate texture. The built-ins are white painted wood featuring a grasscloth wallpaper with a pearly finish which line the shelves and face of the cabinets. My desk has an embossed faux raffia finish giving it a modern yet organic feel. My favorite piece is the wall decor which became the focal point of my office. The wooden beads are hand-sewn in this “wave-like” pattern creating a sense of calm and serenity that every office needs! Below is a brief look at the steps I took into designing my office. I love seeing a space go from inspiration, to a drawing, to a design deck, to completion!
